Maybe not the most poetic way of putting it, but I just read it and it is true and it felt like a sentimental day. Unfortunately for us, we have no control over this. A mystery of our minds. Agreed?

Agreed.
There are memories I have that make me wince when my mind wanders there. There are people I just can't let myself think about.
There are even a couple who I wonder if they ever think about me.
Sometimes it's sad to think about them, but I think it would be worse if I forgot about them.
